I always asked you
why trees don’t grow on the moon,
You said it was because we weren’t sure
which fertilizer to use.
We tried and tried,
and failed everytime,
but when you both died,
I had to decide
To try, try again.
Turns out the poison
in our souls
just turned the moon
radioactive.
